Warning Description: Snow Advisory
Warning Date: 6:59 PM EDT on March 24, 2007
WarningSum:...Snow Advisory Remains In Effect Until 4 Am Edt Sunday...
Warning Message:Snowfall totals of 2 to 5 inches are expected tonight...with as much
as 6 inches possible above 1000 feet.
Rain will change to snow between 9 PM and 11 PM as colder air works
into the region. Snow will fall heavily for a time before ending
between 2 and 4 am Sunday.
The snow will likely be wet and will easily cake onto trees and
power lines. This may result in some broken tree branches and
perhaps isolated power outages.
Lower elevations throughout interior southern New England will see
snowfall totals of 1 to 3 inches...since it will take longer for the
changeover to snow to occur.
A Snow Advisory means that snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities...especially in the higher elevations...and use
caution while driving.
